Marriage, S/O’s and political divisiveness

Polarization amongst people of the USA is dreadful. I am curious about couples who have opposing election views and how it affects their relationship.Fear has been the primary theme of the GOP campaign for years; and after the election I fear the blowback amongst the American populace. This campaign has caused me to have strained relationships with certain friends; I pray that the polarization amongst people, races, sexes, and religions is not not being felt in marriages and intimate relationships.
