I read some of the same piece…just to say, no one should insult Oprah in such a way.
Chris Matthews Hardball was all over this last night. Chris has been ripping into Palins lack of intellect and lack of in depth knowledge on foreign and domestic affairs. But he was in full support of Palin getting a slot at Faux or some other game show host.
Go to “what’s next for Palin”. Christopher Hitchens had a few things about Sarah on Hardball last night

I think the first time I heard anyone say anything about Sarah hosting a game show was Emptywheel and that same night or so I heard Matthews say it. Maybe he comes to her blog
I wonder what percentage of United States residents refuses to watch any television at all. It’s probably not too high. I personally only watch four things: Countdown, Rachel Maddow, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report (all the most important news shows).
Hearing about the prospect of a Sarah Palin show makes me feel better about being out of the loop. I’d rather eat broken glass than watch that. I’d rather watch Wolf Blitzer cover a replay of the original OJ Simpson trial. I’d rather watch Geraldo Rivera giving tips about mustache grooming. I’d rather…
the only reason I wouldn’t want her to host a show is that would mean she wouldn’t run in o12, she would be a pretty easy target if she ran
Anyone remember “Queen for a Day?” She could give her wardrobe to a recenlty displaced worker. I’m sure that she would provide the kind of sincerity that would make viewers sit up a (take notice) vomit.
A pilot that would never get out of the can.
Maybe she and her new pal Elizabeth Hassel….can create a “New View”; I think Elizabeth’s days may be numbered.
Considering the state of the Republican brand, her negative poll numbers, and the potential of any advertiser being tied to the hateful campaign rhetoric, the impending landslide defeat of her, I would think it’s all speculation.
Also, I have to wonder if any advertisers would want to association with her after all that’s been displayed about her and by her.
I should preview. My comment at 8 is a bit out of whack.
