From Diddy Blog
You go to vote and whoa, the line is stretching for blocks so what do you do? Go home?
NO!
No line is too long. As Diddy says, imagine what it would look like now in our world if Martin Luther King Jr. had said, "Ooh, my feet hurt, I can’t march today."
Ain’t no line too damn long.

Fabulous Margot ! rec. Get Some, Puff !!!
For our kids, for our futures.
I love the expression on his face. “I know y’all done lost your minds, right?”
Great message.
It’s a happenin’ thang.
Be prepared to wait,
and then enjoy meeting and greeting your neighbors. We had a blast in 2004. I expect even more fun this year.
oh yes!
*kiss* Peace!
Thanks, Margot!
Margot,
Thanks for this very outstanding post. He is talking to those who need to hear some straight up no non-sense information. I totally agree and I live in Florida and stood in line so “ain’t no line too damn long!”
Thanks for this outstanding message!

KEEP McCAIN AWAY….eggselent
((( LS ))) !!!!
Damn, I need to go…I was kvetching on the last thread about the work schedule, and by the clock on the wall I see it’s time for me to go…my squad is on duty this weekend. ‘Night to all of you excellent pups!
I was thinkin’ – maybe we deserve some room for some new chivalry. If there’s an older person behind you that’s getting tired, trade spots. If there’s someone in a rush to get to work (and they have an Obama button give ‘em a break and let them switch with you if you have a bit more time.
And then find a “red neighborhood” and go and stand in line there after you vote…making them share the pain!
Just kidding, of course!
Congrats, Margot!
You go girl!!
Aloha, LL!
nite LL
Here is where to find your polling place, from the League of Women Voters.
Another link from Vote for Change.
Thank you Suz…many thanks.
OK, that’s handy!
Thanks Betsy, CT, LS.
It was just one of those “wonder if there are any funny Sarah Palin YouTubes” things, and then I found this.
excellent
I (heart) Diddy. “A Diddy a day keeps McCain away.” Priceless!
Margot!
This was great — I loved it today. Go Girl!
And thanks for the comment on FB the other day.
w00t Marg0t!!
The first time I voted, the machines broke down. We waited and an older lady near me noticed i did the crossword in ink, like she was doing, so we struck up a conversation. Eventually they told us it would be a couple more hours, they were getting people to fix the machines. So we went and had coffee and came back and voted.
Thank you everyone.;)
Someone wake me up after “hiring” day…I’m layin’ low….
I won’t be surprised, until I’m surprised…I’ll wait to see.
Anyone notice that Palin always refers to being “hired” in her speeches……not ELECTED??????
Hmmmm.
That’s what she gets for bring a crayon to the interview.
Seconded with great enthusiasm.
digg
Ha! That is hilarious, Newt, you clever guy.
Not me… I
stoleborrowed it from a Chimpy joke I heard.darkblack weighs in on Palin
http://darkblack999.blogspot.c…..-plan.html
does anyone have a link for the Obama interview on Rachel, I thought it was replayed at 10:00, not 9:00 – fuck!
I have happily managed to avoid Palin speeches so far, thought I appreciate you doing the heavy lifting.
I did, however, try to get tickets to see her speak when she was in Tampa last week. No dice.
I was treating it as socio-anthropological field work. I hope the house anthropologists approve.
LS, did you early vote? Any lines?
I am proud to announce that I just found out that one of my two elderly republican parents voted for Obama. sounds like they split on prop 8 too. this is inconceivable in my family… the equivalent of he’ll
freezing over or cows flying. ‘course mom has no intention of telling dad how she voted.
Here.
((( Margot )))
Passin’ some chilled Leffe to LL …
Hi, TexB! Nice work you guys are doing at the Beach House…especially dug the Clinton/Franken coverage. Much good.
It was so good, it has to be up soon. Give it a minute and look on YouTube.
I should have looked harder, but walked into the apartment and panicked when I saw Chris Matthews. Thanks
OMG … db has outdone himself …
That’s perfecto!
I don’t even wanta know where the ‘undisclosed location’ for the flag pin is…!
Margot…a good idea…nothing gets in your way from voting…uh uh uh!

I hope Diddy sees this and buys you a whole case of Krug !
well thank you. did you see published cassie’s school essay
tearing downanalyzing the a few palin speeches.Congrats.
Alright Margot!! You go Girl!! I did recommend and Digg your Diary/post.
And dam straight there is no line too long that you may have to wait in for this election… it just means way to much for our country!!
Outstanding work. It reads very straightforward and logical, and utterly devastating.
Please give her my regards and best wishes.
Thanks Boo, nahant.;
and only 10x as long as my average post
Dugg, nahant
Margot, thanks for giving us this one little more push here in the homestretch.
it might be a rethug corporatist thing. I’ve heard my (rethug activist dad) say many times: “when I hire a politician I expect..” or “members of congress are hired to a job, not..”. what they mean by this is, good government resembles a private corporation. bad government acts like a government should act . it’s just how they think… or don’t
*sigh* Still no comments…
each of us has to be pushing the GOTV in our respective neighborhoods, offices, and everywhere else we interact.
that your one? (/s)
requires more brain power than i can currently muster
Well done margot, thanks.
