I have Brandon Friedman’s late-night Twitter to thank for the heads-up on this. And while the split-screen may indicate they didn’t share a green room, both Kenniff and Johnson were apparently introduced while both were on-air, including Johnson’s status as a P.O.W. early in the Iraq War.

Somehow, the vehemence and resignation she brings to her statment “I am a P.O.W!” make me think this isn’t the first chucklehead she’s needed to remind exactly who she is and what her service to this country entailed.

And yes, she should run for office. Preferably against a warmongering chickenhawk GOP.

I laughed and laughed and laughed at this last night when pointed to it, and I simply had to post it immediately for you all to see. Her points are very good ones, too — just because he went to college, he doesn’t feel the horror of war, exposed to it every day in his patients’ reports?

She knew more about the shooter than Kenniff bothered to learn (”he *hadn’t been* deployed”) and seemed to take a special delight in repeating the phrase “JAG-officer” in an elided way that made me wonder if she was thinking something quite different.
