Free: Protect the Future of a Pro-Choice America
Across the country, lawmakers are attacking our rights one-by-one. Their judgment affects all of us, our friends and family, our mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers. Do your part to ensure that reproductive rights will not become a thing of the past.
The goal of this project is to get a younger generation of activists involved in pro-choice issues. And look for a couple more like this in the near future .)

And they are being helped by entities like the Catholic Church. Did you see this article from today?
“A South Carolina Roman Catholic priest has told his parishioners that they should refrain from receiving Holy Communion if they voted for Barack Obama because the Democratic president-elect supports abortion, and supporting him “constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil.”
The Rev. Jay Scott Newman said in a letter distributed Sunday to parishioners at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville that they are putting their souls at risk if they take Holy Communion before doing penance for their vote.”

Thanks for this.
I want a strong lobbying group who always promotes women’s right to choose. This group, if done right, would be like the NRA. You’re not good with them, you can’t get elected dog-catcher.
No excuses, no votes for people not on their list of those who are with us 100% of the time, including cloture votes for Supreme Court justices.
Pro-choice means No forced birth.
Pro-choice means No forced abortion. (See Tom DeLay, Northern Mariana Islands, etc.)
Pro-choice means No forced sterilization.
(See Should poor women be “offered” sterilization?) No eugenics.
Pro-choice means available contraceptives, and not getting turned away at the pharmacy counter.
Women have the say as to what happens to their bodies, period. No exceptions. None.
I would like to point out that many GOP candidates use the issue to get elected and then fail to deliver. IOW, election talk about abortion is totally irrelevant and pointless when deciding who to vote for regarding other issues that they will act on. jmho.
It’s priests like this that serve to remind me that my relationship with my higher power has no middle man.
Thanks Elliott.

I want these Churches to lose their Tax Exempt status! They want to play politics, then they pay to play! Enough is enough, they have allowed them to get away with this crap for far too long and they are just becoming more and more emboldened.
