Dear GOP:

Your ideas suck. Your pResident ran our country into the ditch, at home and abroad. You cheerled him every step of the way.

And now we’re supposed to listen to what you want to do with our auto industry?

I don’t think so.

Shut up and go sit in the corner while the grownups figure this out, please.

I’m looking at you, Kyl and Shelby. Especially Shelby, whose Alabama constituents practically killed Mercedes-Benz’s plans to build M-Class SUVs in America by producing the least reliable Mercedes vehicle ever. I don’t think that qualifies Shelby, or his constituents, to have any say at all in what happens to our auto manufacturing base in the Midwest.

Sit in the corner and shut up.
