Aside from having their polls freeped, the staff at Time Magazine doesn’t seem to be very smart.
Now it’s your turn to tell us who you think is the most important person of 2008. Should it be first woman Vice Presidential candidate or her female doppelganger on Saturday Night Live? Vote for your choice, though the editors reserve the right to disagree. Their selection will be announced in the December 29th issue of TIME, on sale Dec. 19
(bold added for ignorance enhancement)
Sadly, Sarah "youbetcha" Palin is in the lead in the online voting for Time’s PotY, god bless her.
UPDATE: Here is how the online poll results appeared at the time I published this diary: Vote for Your Choice. Since then, Obama has moved ahead of Palin in "Avg. Rating" but Palin still has over 10,000 more votes.
UPDATE 2: Well that didn’t take long. At the time of this update, Palin has fallen to number 6 on the list and Obama now has a commanding lead. However, Time still hasn’t remedied the "first woman Vice Presidential candidate" faux pas.
