Besides that, she thinks that her home is in Juneau and she’s on TDY when in Wasilla. So she can collect travel reimbursements, and then not declare them as income? Sure, why not?

You want to cite William Jefferson? Let’s do that, John. Jefferson was caught with $90K stashed in his freezer, apparently obtained by influence-peddling. But while we’re talking Jefferson, let’s talk Bob Ney, okay? You remember Bob Ney, don’t you? He represented Ohio’s 18th District. Isn’t that somewhere near your Ohio 8th District? He got caught with his hand in Jack Abramoff’s cookie jar? What’s that? You don’t know Jack? I figured as much.

How about Randy "Duke" Cunningham? You remember him — great guy, represented San Diego in the Congress. Lived on this really cool yacht, The DukeStir. He was a Republican, too. Got caught steering contracts to his buddies at MZM, and they got him all kinds of goodies, like that really cool yacht.
