John McCain is temperamentaly far too comfortable with the Schmidt-Rove attack and distract brand of public discourse. A McCain adminsitration will be not only a continuation of the disastrous economic and foreign affairs policies of the last eight years, but of the arrogant and debilitating psychological quirks the incumbent and the candidate share.

Maureen shouldn’t be traveling on the plane with folks she is covering anyway.

She really seemed to be exhilarated by exchanging a word or two with the charismatic one.
And it influenced her prose. She came off like a sophomore in heat.

Now, since she finally has run out of gas (for the moment) for stomping on Hillary’s battered body, she is turning for Palin for the release she seems to need.

She doesn’t need to be on the plane for that.

It’s not like Dowd is saying anything that other pundits aren’t. Without the Clintons to obsess over, she has been focusing on Palin, which can’t be good.
