So why don’t the politicians want funding in place to protect the very would-be whistleblowers who will be in the perfect position to testify as to and future fraud, abuse, misappropriation or outright theft of these funds?

First of all, the ‘real’ government figure for unemplyment is 13.7 percent; it’s just not what the media reports.
YES, EFCA needs to be pushed through big time.
Booyah, if he was ‘working for the american people’ why does ARRA discriminate against all those who lost the jobs and didn’t find remployment in 2008?
And here in California, the ‘budget’ that the Schwarz and legislative ‘leaders created behind closed doors dilutes the effects for California of the ARRA AND gives $1 BILLION of tax breaks to multi-state and multi-national corporations based on the old bovine excrement of ‘the companies will move jobs to other States’.
Riseup and revolt !!

I have been very disheartened by Obama’s picks in the financial arena and the fact that he seems firmly aligned with DLC/corporate agendas… really is still unbelievable to me.

But at least on this act… he was working for the American people.
