The Republican Jewish Coalition is placing these ads in Newspapers around the country:

Via Email:
They’ve got a nearly unlimited sum of money to run these advertisements in Jewish newspapers around the country, so we’re going to try and stop them at the source. We’ve confirmed that these ads are running in the following outlets (notice the focus on swing states), and are confirming with other papers during the day today:
The Forward National
Haaretz Based in Israel, but read in the U.S. Nationally
The New Standard Columbus, OH
The Jewish Week New York, NY
Detroit Jewish News Detroit, MI
Jewish Journal in Sun Sentinal Along FlA’s Gold Coast, from West Palm Beach to Miami
Detroit Jewish News Detroit, MI
Heritage Florida Jewish News Central Florida, FL
The Jewish Exponent Philadelphia, PA
These ads are revolting and these smears have been shown to be false numerous times so there is no point doing a fact check here. And trying to tie Barack Obama to Pat Buchanan is simply ridicules.
There is a concept in Judaism known as tikkun olam. Translated it means "repairing the world". I would ask the members of the RJC how these ads accomplish that goal?
If you agree, JStreet is running a campaign demanding that publications stop running these ads.

Shameless, utterly shameless.
They have gall trying to tie Obama to Pitchfork Pat, since these are the same folk cuddling up to Evangelicals whose only use for Israel is as the staging ground for the Apocalypse.
Just signed the petition at JStreet. This is the week for Jews to clear their consciences and seek forgiveness from those whom we have wronged. Such forgiveness is a necessary precursor to gaining atonement from God.
One cannot, therefore, atone for murder, since the victim can no longer grant forgiveness. Just below on the list is lashon ha-ra, or evil speech. This means not only slander (which is false), but even making true statements about someone in a way that causes them to be debased in the eyes of others.
There is a story of a man who went to his Rabbi and asked how he could atone for lashon ha-ra. The Rabbi asked him to bring his feather pillow from home. The Rabbi went outside, slashed the pillow and let the feathers fly away in the wind. If you can restore this pillow, and the good name of the one you slandered, then you can make atonement.
Something for the JRC to ponder as we approach Yom Kippur.
L’shana tova to all!
