Portions of the Branchflower report were released last night in Alaska. Finding number one states:
For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) provides
The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust.
So, what does Sarah have to say about that? Here is what CNN.com is reporting:
"If you read the report, you will see that there was nothing unlawful," Palin said as she emerged from her hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Sarah, if the quote extracted from the Branchflower report is written at too advanced a level for you, try reading the next paragraph from CNN:
Palin violated state ethics law by trying to get her former brother-in-law fired from the state police, a state investigator’s report for the bipartisan Legislative Council concluded Friday.
Being a maverick means never having to understand what you read. You broke the law, Sarah. Deal with it.

Hmmmmmm….. Well I guess the report itself was not unlawful. That’s true. Indeed, Branchflower was a duly authorized and paid investigator. But she seems to pick and choose her NYTimes headlines, however, doesn’t she?
Convoluted thinking – a specialty of Palintology.
JimWhite,
Imagine “that” Palin manipulative, dysfunctional mentality interacting with international law…
It would be a far worse “more of the same.”
How mavericky
Is reading relative to what you want the facts to be? Why is Sarah ending her career in the GOP for John? The prolife and racist wings of the GOP are both getting hurt by being associated with Sarah and John.
Cindy McCain calls Obama’s the “dirtiest campain in history”.
Obama may have bought a $3 million projector.
But McCain is married to a $100 million projector.
Now…
Let us reflect on the gift that Sarah Palin has given us all:

Gosh, I wonder if CNN.com read this post Saturday morning? Note the Palin quote as it appears at the top. Here is how the quote reads now:
The story indicates that it was “updated” at 11:15 am EDT on Saturday, or about 25 minutes after this diary was posted.
The current version of her quote is a much more accurate picture of the situation: she was cleared of legal wrongdoing in the firing of Monegan but was found to have violated the ethics statute in her vendetta against Wooten.
Veery interestink.
