Philly fans are very vocal, and Ed Snider is an ass. I’m proud to see my hometown fans give Sarah what she deserves.

Keep in mind, the Wachovia Center is Comcast Country as the big banner says. Philly is the capital the fascist Comcast Empire. When the center was built it was built with everything Comcast wanted for broadcasting.

I sounds like Wachovia and Comcast got a very nice sound system for all their money — excellent for drowning out fan reaction to having a fascist guest on the ice!

What are they gonna call their stupid arena now? Citi oops! Wells-Fargo Center?

How about we just rename all the arenas in the land FDIC Center?

At one point it was the First Union Center, which lent itself to be known as the FU Center. I’m thinking the W FU Center would work and appropriate in many ways.

Well the Flyers fans had their say…but apparently management knew what was coming.

From a Philadelphia Flyers fan who was there: “uhhh….a mixture of boos and cheers?? More like 5 parts boos, 1 part light applause. They had to turn the music up so loud I was worried that it was going to crack the ice! The crowd was chanting Puck you Palin! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

As I said over at TBoggs joint, the NHL started its season across North America this week, why do you think they picked Philly as the place to trot out teh Hockey Mom?
They knew she’d get booed, hell they were hoping someone would throw stuff on the ice – why do you think Bible Spice brought Fidget and Pontoon or whateverthehell their names are along for the ride? It was a a set up to make Palin look like the victim of meanspirited Northeastern Democrats. The footage of those “low-class east-coast elitist Obama supporters attacking a six-year-old girl” will play on an endless loop in Rethug world from now until November 2012

I think the whole think sucked on a number of levels. If they knew ahead of time that she was going to be booed, why did they even let her out there.

That other hockey mom was supposed to drop the puck. And she got taken over by Palin and her crap. That lady won a contest and it was supposed to be a big deal for her. She winds up having to listen to all the boos as Palin takes over ‘her’ event.

Palin tried to use her kids for shields. It didn’t work, and I sure feel sorry for the kids. By the way – why aren’t they in school?

Unbelievably poor judgment. On Palin’s part, the McCain campaign’s part, and McCain himself for picking this loser.
