CA-10 Congressional District Democratic Nominee
to Highlight Support for Robust Public Option
Washington DC – Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi, the Democratic nominee for California’s 10th Congressional District, will join FireDogLake (http://www.FireDogLake.com) for a virtual town hall to explain where he stands on health care. Garamendi supports and prefers a single payer Medicare for All system but believes a robust public option is a critical first step to fixing our health care system.
The town hall will be held on Monday, September 7 at 2 pm Pacific Standard Time (5 pm EST).
Garamendi was a twice elected State Insurance Commissioner. He also served as the chair of the Senate Health Committee when he was a California state legislator. For more on Garamendi’s perspectives on health care, please visit http://www.garamendi.org/issues/healthcare.
