After giving it some thought, I decided that Glenn might just be suggesting that the Left is in a big boiling pot and cannot get out. I’m not sure if I believe that, but the imagery is nice and comforting.

As usual I’m not sure what he means or even think he means. First I thought that he was making the suggestion that Obama was hitting us with such big programs that it had the “boiling frog effect”…but that makes no sense…after all…the frog was supposed to “jump out”. The evil process was tepid water John McCain.

Maybe he forgot the segué…”oooh, the frog boils…even when the water is boiling…we’re the frogs people!”

But he said “forget the frogs”.

this was a pretty good skit by glen and I was surprised he was capable of this kind of hunor

Well, he threw SOMETHING into the pot, but I couldn’t tell what it was (there’s a splash up, but you can’t tell what he tossed in).

Of course, the boiling frog theory only works if the frog can actually jump OFF of something (if you use deep water, the frog can’t reach bottom, so no jumping out). Come to think of it, his analogy does kinda describe the Repub position right now… they’re in so deep they can’t jump out anymore.

O’ course, the Blue Weasel Dems are pretty much right there with ‘em…

I think you mean psychopath, and I’d agree except a real psychopath would have already cooked a half dozen little froggies and moved onto small mammals. Whether or not he actually threw a frog into that water is kind of beside the point.

Even if he didn’t, the whole concept of actually playing out that experiment is just sick and twisted.

Just because he didn’t do it on TV does not mean he did not move on to small animals, etc. long ago. And it’s really difficult to pity a pathological liar that causes so much trouble in the body politic.
