You misunderstand Arizona.

Let’s say you talk funny, wear funky clothes, vote for the far-left-loser.

You will be welcomed in Arizona.

If you want to tell an Arizona citizen how to think, that’s another matter.

But you’re always welcome here, regardless of your beliefs and your hardware.

I was stationed in Phoenix a long time ago.
This bar I used to go to occassionally, One day, I was going to but didn’t.
That night, some guy came in, shot the bouncer, shot his girlfriend, then got shot by another patron. Not the barkeep or another bouncer, another patron.

Took that place off my list.
It was the bar that the Hogans Heros guy used to go to and he got killed there, if I remember correctly. Bob Crane (synapses slowly warming up.)
