Congressman Teague's staff say he will back a reform bill with a strong public option, and agrees that voting "No" on a bad bill is important. They aren't sure that a health care reform bill without a strong public option is necessarily a bad bill.

W Bush isn't the only politician who believes phone calls are more useful than polling data. What's up with that? I look at New Mexico's Senate Bill 12 (a domestic partnership bill) and the kerfuffle over a public option in health care reform.
