Over the past weekend, Alaska's sole Democrat in Congress made an ambiguous statement regarding the public option. Some felt he had "raised his hand" for it. Others didn't feel he had. So I got hold of his press secretary early this morning. Here's what she wrote:

Who is Shannyn Moore? She is Alaska's most courageous, outspoken and mercurial independent commentator. She can build a log cabin or remodel an upscale urban house. She can pilot a limit seiner in the Gulf of Alaska. She can field dress a moose or a bear. She can also field dress a lipstick-encrusted pitbull.

Unless the trajectory of Sarah Palin goes in a different direction than I foresee, this is the conclusion of the Saradise series at Progressive Alaska. In all, there have been 313 chapters

While soon-to-be-ex Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tweets through the night, Alaska's bloggers are uncovering huge holes in the Palinista narrative that she has nothing to do with her legal defense fund.

Yesterday, bloggers all over the country, getting used to the newest on-line entertainment fad in the USA, turned to soon-to-be-ex Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's twitter page, when the word came out that Alaska citizen activist Andree McLeod has filed more requests for clarification of Alaska's often confusing or obscure executive ethics statutes. UPDATED Below

Should soon-to-be-ex-Gov. Sarah Palin's attorney, Thomas van Flein actually go ahead and sue Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, or any of the rest of the Alaska bloggers or citizen activists for "malicious" whatever, one of the very likely consequences would be a deposition or depositions of the ex-Gov.

At a news conference, held in front of the windows in her home that look exactly like the windows in the Wasilla Sports Complex (Palin's most dubious achievement as Wasilla mayor), Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced she will be resigning her duties in two weeks. Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell, the man who put the "lack" in "lackluster," will assume her duties at that time.

Max Blumenthal and Joseph Dana created a riveting video in Jerusalem, on the eve of President Obama's Cairo University address. It showed hatred toward our president by young Israelis and Americans. It was seen over 500,000 times. Now it has been removed from YouTube.

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who was the most popular politician in the USA a year ago, is now far less popular in Alaska than US Sen. Lisa Murkowski, whose father Palin beat to become governor. Her positive rating is now at 54%, and her "very negative" rating is up from 3% a year ago, to 25%.
