One could argue that Barack Obama has turned out to be the best Republican President the country has seen for more than a decade. Many have faulted the GOP for being obstructionist and being the party of no, yet in a year in which they are ostensibly out of power the GOP have been able to see many of their historic policy positions enacted while the party in power has been basically outmaneuvered in such a manner that if assessed on a purely public policy basis, one would be forgiven in concluding that a Republican holds the office of President of the United States of America.

Guess which Democrat in the Senate is the only one to receive money from the biggest funder of anti-climate regulations?

Call me a cynic but I don’t buy the crap being sold. I think Obama made a deal on the CFPA and or the Volcker Rule and is just pretended as he did on with the Public Option.

At first he was against it and wanted to fight. Now he is for it and wants to fight anyone against it. Moulitos needs to primary himself.

Last week I wrote a diary that came out against special treatment for NG gas because despite what NG promoters claim this fossil fuel is not clean nor is t renewable. Instead I prefer an economy wide program of pricing carbon and letting the economy decides how it wants to meet the overall goal.
