Like the whole of mainstream media, CNN stinks and they know it. They are aware of how their shows distort the political reality and divide the American public at a time when we desperately need unity. But they still can’t help themselves. Let’s just turn them all off.

In a New York Times interview published yesterday, Obama revealed how he’s going to spin his disappointing first two years and massive midterm defeat.

The American public is remarkably unconcerned about climate changed. For several years, attitudes about the climate change have been shifting toward apathy and denial.

The 2010 midterms are not as critical as the Democratic loyalists make them out to be. Progressives are getting dire warning about the repeal of HCR, impeachment of Obama, the death of Social Security, and a host of other right-wing assaults on all that is good and decent should the Democrats lose their majority. I don’t see it.

In their frontal assault on the dissatisfaction of progressives, the Obama team is making a key distortion that needs to be directly challenged. They are claiming that we are unhappy because the Democrats have not brought about change quickly enough. The truth, however, is quite different. We are upset because Obama is going in the completely wrong direction.

One more chance, Barack. I’m giving you one more chance! Let’s have a progressive chief of staff and I’ll consider voting Democrat in November.
