Jon Stewart’s great segment about the 30 “pro rape” Republicans in the Halliburton case

Last week, 30 Republicans voted against Sen. Al Franken’s anti-rape amendment to a Defense spending bill. Hence, the GOP/pro-life/anti-healthcare senators, including Sen. John McCain, voted as a pro-rape block.

The case and the vote hasn’t gotten a lot of attention. Thankfully, The Daily Show pays attention and put the absurdity of the GOP vote into a larger context.
