Rasmussen: Joe Miller Down from 47% in PPP Poll, 50% in Early Rasmussen to 42% in Today’s Rassie Poll

By: Tuesday September 21, 2010 8:52 am

Prior to information emerging yesterday that Fairbanks divorce attorney Joe Miller took thousands of dollars in Federal farm subsidies for apparently doing nothing on Kansas farm land while Miller resided in Alaska, a new Rasumussen Poll shows him losing 8 points of support in 18 days, in the first post-Murkowski write-in campaign poll made public.

As Even Chris Wallace Seems to Tire of Joe the Teabagger, Where Does One Find the Real Joe?

By: Sunday September 19, 2010 2:05 pm

Watching Chris Wallace’s growing frustration in trying to get a straight answer out of Fairbanks divorce attorney Joe Miller this morning reminded me of Rep. David Guttenberg’s statement about Miller’s shallowness:

I beat this fool when he ran against me in 2004. Miller speaks drivel.

Palin Confronted in Homer with Teacher’s “WORST GOVERNOR EVER” Sign

By: Monday August 9, 2010 11:04 am

Sarah Palin was in Homer this past weekend, making false claims that she is fishing commercially there, and confronted by and confronting people who don’t hold the half-term governor in very high esteem. Here’s documentation of one of the hilarious exchanges.

Did I Over-React to Threats from Sarahbots Late Last Week?

By: Saturday February 13, 2010 3:54 am

On February 2nd, I posted an article at my blog and a diary here, suggesting Palin apparatchik Rebecca Mansour, the writer of most Palin Facebook posts, may be the person behind the Palin attack on Rahm Emanuel. Soon afterward all hell broke loose. I may have then over-reacted.

Forget Levi – Celtic Diva Corners Sarah Palin

By: Friday October 30, 2009 1:55 am

When Linda Kellen told me last winter that she was going to file an ethics complaint with the State of Alaska about then-Governor Sarah Palin, parading around in personalized gear from the snowmachine manufacturer Arctic Cat, while representing the State as chief executive, I agreed that Linda had an issue.

Watching Max Blumenthal Grow to be a Major American Writer

By: Saturday September 19, 2009 2:14 pm

One year ago, as Alaska’s fledgeling progressive blogging community was assisting one Outside writer after another come to terms with just who John McCain’s running mate, then-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was, I got a call from one more writer – Max Blumenthal.

Alaska Blogger Shannyn Moore Wins 2009 Steve Gilliard Journalism Grant at Netroots Nation

By: Friday August 14, 2009 3:20 pm

Who is Shannyn Moore? She is Alaska’s most courageous, outspoken and mercurial independent commentator. She can build a log cabin or remodel an upscale urban house. She can pilot a limit seiner in the Gulf of Alaska. She can field dress a moose or a bear. She can also field dress a lipstick-encrusted pitbull.

If YOU Could Depose Sarah Palin, What Would YOU Ask Her?

By: Tuesday July 7, 2009 2:00 pm

Should soon-to-be-ex-Gov. Sarah Palin’s attorney, Thomas van Flein actually go ahead and sue Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, or any of the rest of the Alaska bloggers or citizen activists for “malicious” whatever, one of the very likely consequences would be a deposition or depositions of the ex-Gov.

The Curious Case of Dan Fagan’s Levi Johnston Op-Ed in the Anchorage Daily News

By: Saturday January 3, 2009 11:51 pm

Dan Fagan, the Anchorage large-scale Anchorage media figure who questioned Levi Johnston’s apprenticeship qualifications this weekend, has somehow become a left blogosphere icon today. Guess what – he’s a homophobic, Islamophobic, racist, Exxon-loving WATB, who also dislikes Sarah Palin.
