This past weekend the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. took the stage and tried to sell this nation a payday loan as the payment solution on that check her uncle spoke of 47 years ago.

There are arguments being made in light of the left’s total lack of influence in electoral politics, despite the efforts of many over the past several years, to start a third-party movement. These are some thoughts on this, and a recommendation we look to direct non-violent organizing and coordinated action, to effectively respond to the unique political realities we face today.
