At 4:45 pm last night, Health Care for America Now sent out an email asking our supporters to oppose the so-called compromise being negotiated in the Senate. Four hours later, over 30,000 people had signed on. This morning, we’re up well over 40,000.
The response has been tremendous. Here’s what people are saying opposing this so-called compromise.

There is a new public health insurance option “compromise” brewing from Senate Carper. This proposal, undeveloped as it is, will not meet the principles for a real public health insurance option: It won’t be national or available everywhere on day one.

I Found April Wheeler This Morning |

I went looking for April Wheeler sometime after 1961. I’d known of her back then, but I put her down and moved away. Some plenty of events since have reminded me of her, so I’d search. Not avidly, but casually, as the opportunity came up. Then, without warning or even without looking, I found her for the first time just this morning.
