We need to create a new national orgazation with local chapters. A union for all working people but not focused only on workplace issues, instead focused on taking control of our country.

Could the culture war itself, rather than the incessant debating of issues within that war, be the real reason our electoral system – and thereby our government – sucks?

There are some around here who bandy the idea of forming a third party to the left of the Democratic Party as a solution for our current policy problems. In the spirit of being helpful the Dog has laid out some of what is required to become a national party in American politics.
