The Michael Vick case had the beneficial effect of putting a spotlight on the underculture of animal fighting. It is sad to think that an unintended consequence of this was to force these people even deeper under some cultural rock.

The banking industry has behaved like a bunch of incompetent bookies, and we are bailing them out. What’s up with that?

There are a lot of stories around about John McCain’s temper – here’s one that shows that not only does he have ‘anger management’ issues, he also has problems with people touching him…and some pretty strong arrogance to go along with it.
