The movement to defeat the budget cuts David Cameron proposes for Great Britain will be a tough one. But there may be lessons here for the inevitable budget cuts proposed by Obama at the end of this year.

PBS News Hour tonight spent 15 minutes fretting about some manufactured controversy between America and Great Britain. But I can’t find any evidence that any sensible American or any sensible US official who is even remotely upset at the British people, the UK or its government. So everyone relax.
