We’ve all heard in recent days about a prominent gay basher and his hiring of a male prostitute from RentBoy, ostensibly to “carry his bags” but in reality to give him “the long stroke”. In my research on the Hamilton Project, I came across some interesting ties between MIT economist Jonathan Gruber and the Hamilton Project. Gruber, it turns out, carries bags for the Obama administration and the Goldman Sachs, Robert Rubin-funded Hamilton Project. Gruber’s a RentEconomist ready and seems willing to take any economic position you might want, for money that is, lots of it.

An Updated List of Goldman Sachs Ties to the Obama Government Including Elena Kagan |
| By: fflambeau Saturday May 8, 2010 9:13 pm |
The pervasive influence of Goldman Sachs and its units (like Goldman-Robert Rubin funded Hamilton Project embedded in the Brookings Institution) in the Obama government are shown here. I have updated an older such list to include more Goldies, including Elena Kagan. This is the largest and most comprehensive list of such ties yet published.
Bouncing the rubble: Biden and Rubin star at Hamilton Project relaunch |

If there’s a social program left standing in the moonscape Obama’s Hamilton Project masters inflicted on America, Greenstone and the Project are there to ensure Obama nukes it.
If someone you care deeply about depends on Social Security – or will depend on Social Security – call them up today and tell them you love them. Because Team Obama has targeted Social Security…and your loved ones are just the MOTU’s version of collateral damage.
Deaths you can believe in, right?

New York Times Beats Drum for Social Security “Reform” (Meaning Cuts, Age Increases) |
| By: fflambeau Tuesday March 23, 2010 1:00 pm |
It’s already happened. One of the mainstays of the status quo is calling for “social security reform”. The New York Times in a front page article says social security “reform” is the “next big issue” and that Social Security is “the likeliest source of the sort of large savings needed to bring projected annual deficits to sustainable levels”.
Did Obama revoke more Americans’ rights than any President since the Great White Fathers? Yes, he did. |
| By: Kirk Murphy Sunday March 21, 2010 10:53 pm |
The executive order Obama released today effectively rescinds rights the Supreme Court previously extended to over half the people in America. What a cruel and bitter joke identity politics has played upon us all. Today America’s first person of color in the Oval Office robbed a greater part of our neighbors of their rights than any President since the Great White Fathers in their White House made war upon the First Peoples. Hey – at least Obama’s consistent. He’s the finance and insurance sectors’ faithful servant. The Hamilton Project chose their candidate wisely.
Michael Moore Challenges Obama: Replace Rahm with Moore: Why It Won’t Work & What Michael Misses! |
| By: fflambeau Saturday March 6, 2010 8:05 pm |
Michael Moore has a witty, eloquent column up over at the Huffington Post in which he challenges Barack Obama to replace Rahm Emanuel with Michael Moore. It’s a funny post and digs both Obama and Rahm. But at its base there is a misperception by Moore: Obama isn’t hostage to the right, hostage to Rahm, he’s a willing partner.

Glenn Greenwald, in his 2/23/2010 post to his blog, Unclaimed Territory, at Salon.com, thoroughly busts the “fake Left, go Right” shtick of the Democratic Party described by Jeff Cohen, in his 2/03/2010 interview with TRNN’s Paul Jay, featured in the 2/18/2010 entry in this series, Deconstructing Myths of America: The Myth of the Missed Housing Bubble.
Deconstructing Myths of America: The Myth of the Missed Housing Bubble |

Did our economic overlords innocently miss the housing bubble, or create, inflate, and profit off of it? On Democracy Now! this morning, renowned economist Joseph Stiglitz describes anger at Goldman Sachs, this time from Greece, in terms positively Perkinsian. Our homegrown EHMs have hit home, using the American Dream of home ownership as their most devastating weapon.
Is Rahm intentionally driving the Democratic Bus Toward the Cliff’s Edge? |

What a difference a year makes. A year ago, Democrats were enjoying a huge presidential election mandate and full control of the Presidency, the House and the Senate. Today they are in seeiming disarray.
