On last night’s The Daily Show, Jon stewart exposed more blatant lies from Sean Hannity and Fox News. Not only did they lie about the numbers of attendees at Michele Bachmann’s Teabagapolloza 2009, they used old teabagger protest footage as “proof.”

I think the time has come for the right wing media to pay the financial price for their slander. It would send a message, and financial messages are the only ones the right-wing media hear. We can say it’s not about the money, it’s the principle, but it’s really about the money. When someone files one or more, we can help the process by challenging the conventional wisdom that every one is fair game for right-wing media. We can also challenge the main stream media to cut the right-wing media loose and suggest they stop defending them as if they were journalists.
