Reporting on the despicable Rush Limbaugh wedding, People magazine mischaracterized the wedding singer, Million-Dollar Elton John, as an “outspoken gay-marriage advocate.” Sir Elton, who’ll apparently sing in front of roomful of bigots anywhere if the price is right, is far from a proponent of marriage equality.

The most interesting thing about the way the health care debate has unfolded in the lead-up to Tuesday’s special election in Massachusetts is how successfully Republicans have framed it as they argued that Coakley’s troubles reflect a vote of no confidence in what the Democrats are now proposing to do to our health care system.
