Special prosecutors appointed to investigate the U.S. attorney firings and possible torture coverups were tainted by misconduct. Did that help ensure that whitewashes would ensue?

State bar complaints have been filed against twelve Bush administration lawyers involved in the authorization and sanctioning of torture by the United States of America, including two attorneys, Alberto Gonzales and John Yoo, whose disbarments I have long been advocating. [A complete list of the grieved attorneys - with links to the complaints - is included at the end of this post].
