Naomi Klein author of “The Shock Doctrine” reports in from the meeting of the G20 and she actually uses the phrase “new world order”. The G20 was concocted by none other than Larry Summers and his Canadian counterpoint in 1999. The G20 nations want the people to pay for the sins of the bankers and government officials responsible for the crisis.

Deconstructing Myths of America: Noam Chomsky pt1 Going beyond “polite discourse” |
| By: knowbuddhau Wednesday May 12, 2010 12:02 pm |
Noam Chomsky, way back in 1959, busted B. F. Skinner’s myth of radical behaviorism as the one true path to predicting and controlling human behavior. In an interview published today by Guernica (h/t Alternet), Chomsky again busts a myth at the heart of what ails us today: that of the sacrosanct use of violence by the US to shape the world according to our self-worshiping will.
New York Times Calls for Economic Shock Doctrine in Afghanistan |
| By: Jim White Friday April 23, 2010 5:41 am |
An editorial in Friday’s New York Times advocates for Hamid Karzai to hand over responsibility for economic redevelopment of Afghanistan from the United Nations to the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Such a move would do nothing more than complete the rape of Afghanistan by the west and institute policies that Naomi Klein documented in The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism.
Nobody Doesn’t Like Sara Lee – Our Worker Scented Party and President |

Naomi Klein’s first book “No Logo” is every bit as brilliant and well written as “The Shock Doctrine”. The substitution of real products made in America for companies “that own little but sell much” is a philosophy that slithered out of places like U of Chicago and has taken firm nesting in the Democratic Leadership Council which runs the party of FDR. Instead of old “lumpy object purveyors” who represent people who shower after work, the New Democrats are a sleek brand that is not a labor party but like Tony Blair’s New Labour is “not the Labour Party but a labour scented party.”
Deconstructing Myths of America: Naomi Klein rips the mask off of the Heritage Foundation’s myth-making regarding Haiti |

There they go again, the think-tankers who make the myths that make way for the battle tanks (by intending the patriarchal cosmos that grows the neo-feudal societies that grow the psycho Perkinsian economic hit men (EHM) who’ve been jacking us into war after bogus holy war are already salivating at the chance to jack Haiti to hell and back all over again. How? With their new and improved weapons of disaster capitalism. If you’re going to jack a nation, first you gotta make myths.
Deconstructing Myths of America: Laura Flanders: “What do you mean, civilized?” |
| By: knowbuddhau Friday January 8, 2010 12:45 pm |
In her inimitable style, Laura Flanders takes on the central myth of the Washington Post‘s propaganda regarding Uganda, busting down to size their hubris and reminding this poet of Naomi Klein’s words from over two years ago. It’s all about the deliberate weaponization of myths and rhetoric to jack electorates to hell and stick us with the bill in every way. Even John Oliver is getting in on the act.
We are All Bolivians Now |

In “The Shock Doctrine” Naomi Klein chronicles what she could find out about the 1985 election in Bolivia which led to Chicago School of Economics “shock therapy” for the people of Bolivia. Is that what is happening here?
