Admiral Mullen and General Stone are thinking about changes to the Afghan prisons. But the changes needed are deeper than that. And America has to learn to be less in love with it’s invention.

It was suggested I post research I have done on interrogation, particularly in regards to waterboarding and other techniques approved by the Bush administration.
Some sources are articles from newspapers or magazines where they now want you to pay for the article. I have links to some which are still available and I’ll thank ahead of time anyone who posts a link I don’t have yet for any of these articles.
At times the quotes are lengthy, sometimes because the whole passage is relevant and/or to provide context.
Though I have tried to group selections by general aspects of the subject, please keep in mind this is an ongoing project and so more quotes may appear elsewhere here.
