As a species, the right wing has separated itself off from humanity, and declared itself above law, above rational support for the principles that made this nation safe from authoritarian rule, and most especially above decent treatment of all people. Under that species’ dominion, the law of the jungle is supreme, and charity itself becomes a crime.

Fear mongering on rationing health care |

We’re talking a lot about rationing health care by private insurers here on FDL. The usual suspects from the right wing think tanks are filling our newspaper op-ed pages with their fear mongering telling the public that there will be massive rationing if we move towards a French or grman style system.
I took one from the Manhattan Institute’s Charlotte Allen in the LA Times last Sunday. I hope you’ll find it useful.
