Chutzpah and Ingratitude don’t have overlapping definitions, but the Israeli delegation at the UN came close yesterday in their explanation of why they failed to be at President Obama’s UN speech, in which he dared include a long set of remarks that appear, by and large, to seek justice for Palestinians in the ongoing talks on ending the 63-year long conflict:

The Lord’s Resistance Army has terrified Northern Uganda and created a virtual hell-on-earth for anyone who stands in their way. The Obama Administration has passed legislation to combat these evils, but are they doing enough? Is it too much to ask during a collapsing economy and 9%+ Unemployment rate? My personal encounters with Ugandan citizens and other issues addressed.

Rather than dropping food, water and medical supplies, we’re dropping hellfire missiles! When we have the golden opportunity to alleviate the Pakistanis’ pain and suffering, we’re only exacerbating it…!

What better example is needed to highlight the folly of how misguided the US effort in Afghanistan has become than to realize that troops from the same Special Operations Command which is responsible for the night raids that provoke civilian outrage are also attempting to provide primary medical care to the population?

The new United Nations report on civilian casualties in Afghanistan shows that the U.S. strategy in Afghanistan is failing, even according to the military’s own doctrine. According to COIN theory, if you can’t prevent your own side from killing civilians, and you can’t offer credible assurances of security to the population, you lose. And, guess what? Judged by its own standards, the U.S. military is losing. It’s time to end this mission.

It’s a wrong situation, they can’t make us different people then we are.
