Sidestepping Wolf Blitzer’s question (again!) about whether Don’t-Ask-Don’t-Tell is unconstitutional, and saying that she and the President want Congress to end the law as soon as possible, White House Senior Adviser in Charge of Taking the Heat from Gays Valerie Jarrett said she shares Lt Dan Choi’s frustration over the pace of the repeal in Congress.

HRC Spanks Ken Buck for “Choice” Remark After Utter Silence on Valerie Jarrett |

The Human Rights Campaign, reliable lapdogs for the Obama White House and their lack of progress on LGBT issues, bothered to chastise GOP Senate candidate in Colorado Ken Buck — on Sunday! — for his remarks on NBC’s Meet the Press that being gay was a “choice.”
It Wasn’t a ‘Lifestyle Choice’, and It’s Not a Mistake |

I’m so freaking angry right now I could spit. White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett referred to the sexual orientation of now-deceased teenager Justin Aarberg as a “lifestyle choice” — and then phones in her tepid apology through Washington Post meat puppet Jonathan Capehart.
A paid professional who is tasked with representing the White House doesn’t simply — oopsy! — slip and talk like that about somebody else’s child.

Ms. Jarrett needs to apologize, quickly AND publicly, for her unfortunate and ill-considered choice of words both to the grieving parents of this young man and to the LGBT community.
