Washington is just one state experiencing a surge in third party filings. This is just one more indication that progressives need to think outside the box and search for independents, Greens, and candidates reflecting a liberal, anti-corporatist, anti-war agenda to support in upcoming primaries and general elections.

Tomorrow is World Elder Abuse Prevention Day. It’s a day to appreciate that elders in our society endure abusive behavior every day and to consider how we might remedy this deplorable situation.
